After the race for the Boshio is won and the Kingdom of Light lies all but buried, Arca begins to change in ways its people never imagined. The Mardern rise once more, this time armed not only with brutality, but with a technological power so great that the people of Arca begin abandoning their heritage in exchange for its promise. But while society appears to be improving, something far darker is tightening its grip on the world. With Arca moving steadily toward ruin, the last remaining Huido must decide whether they still have the strength to fight for what survives. As the old ways fade and a new darkness spreads, only a dying light remains to stand against the end.
